I have recently been working on a number of monotypes using acrylic on paper over the past six months. I create interesting textures using monoprint techniques then work on top of these textures using oil paint to add more depth and colour. Some have an ethereal quality while other pieces are about lost meanings and decay over time. I will be exploring these methods further and will keep you updated. Let me know what you think.
